What a fantastic way to view a courtyard. Students and staff and community will enjoy the new courtyard classroom a collaboration by the students, staff, PTA, Principal and myself.
I had an opportunity to work with inmates from the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in May to create a 4’ x 24’ mural to be donated as a gift to the Montgomery County Men’s Homeless Shelter.
Excel Beyond The Bell at Neelsville Middle School.
Close to 150 5th grade students created two beautiful mosaics as a gift to Great Seneca Creek Elementary School. Working around the theme of the Chesapeake students created small ceramics of living organisms and animals from the local region. They were fired and ready for use prior the residency thanks in part to the amazing art teacher Ms.
Check it out this Saturday at Lakelands Park Middle School. Come out and join me and Ms. Hoover's art class as we welcome community, staff and students to this one day event. The hours that we will be there are from 11-1. Come join me to place a little piece of history to create a legacy for Lakelands Park.
Students from Eleanor Roosevelt High School designed and created three murals on panels this past summer in honor their achievements in the school as well as to inspire the next generation of students who step in the school to reach for their dreams.
Their proud artwork can be viewed in the school’s all purpose room.

It is a mix of color and texture that first captures your eyes.
In honor of the school being newly renovated and a pleasant eye for students who get dropped off and to parents and
community members who pass by the school.
